May – October
IDEAL FOR
Culture seekers, adventurous families, and history lovers
An 11-night journey through the most sophisticated civilization of the ancient Americas — from the cloud forests of Machu Picchu to the depths of the Amazon. Designed for travelers who want history, adventure, and luxury woven into a single extraordinary experience.
Peru is one of the most layered and rewarding destinations in the world — a country where Inca stonework rises from mist-covered mountain ridges, where Lima has quietly become one of the hemisphere's great culinary capitals, and where the Amazon Basin still hides communities and wildlife largely unknown to the outside world. This 11-night private journey connects all three worlds: the cosmopolitan thrill of Miraflores, the sacred geometry of the Inca heartland, and a luxury Amazon lodge of extraordinary intimacy.

The Journey
Your Itinerary
Chapter 01
Chapter 01 — Lima
Arrive at Belmond Miraflores Park, perched on the Pacific cliffs. A private chef-guided tour of the Surquillo market precedes a lunch at Central, ranked among the world's top restaurants, where each course represents a different Peruvian altitude zone. Dinner at Central — a culinary journey through Peru's 17 ecosystems.
Chapter 02
Chapter 02 — Cusco
Fly to Cusco and settle into Belmond Palacio Nazarenas — a converted 16th-century convent where every suite surrounds a colonial courtyard and a heated outdoor pool steams against the Andean sky. An afternoon acclimatization walk through the San Blas artisan quarter. Private rooftop pisco sour ceremony as the sun sets over Cusco's terracotta rooflines.
Chapter 03
Chapter 03 — Sacred Valley
Your private archaeologist joins for two full days in the Sacred Valley. Visit Pisac's terraced citadel before dawn. Lunch with a Q'ero indigenous family in their home village. An afternoon at the circular terraces of Moray. Private pre-dawn access to Pisac Citadel — an Inca sunrise with no one else present.
Chapter 04
Chapter 04 — Machu Picchu
Board the Belmond Hiram Bingham train — the most elegant way to arrive at Machu Picchu. Your archaeologist provides a private 3-hour interpretation of the citadel. Overnight at Belmond Sanctuary Lodge — the only hotel inside the protected zone. Machu Picchu at dawn from inside the Sanctuary — an experience available to very few.
Chapter 05
Chapter 05 — Tambopata Amazon Reserve
Fly to Puerto Maldonado and board a private motorized canoe into the Tambopata National Reserve. Canopy tower sunrise with a resident ornithologist. Night caiman spotting by torchlight. A rainforest pharmacology walk with a native healer. Piranha fishing at golden hour. Sunrise from the 30-meter canopy tower — the Amazon waking around you in a symphony of sound.
Chapter 06
Chapter 06 — Return to Lima & Departure
Return to Lima for a final two nights of culinary indulgence. A private kitchen tour at Maido — the world's best Nikkei restaurant. A private visit to the Larco Museum's extraordinary pre-Columbian gold collection followed by a farewell dinner at Astrid y Gaston.

Completely. Every HauteBlack journey is a starting point, not a fixed package. Your dedicated travel advisor will reshape every element — accommodations, pacing, dining, private guides, and experiences — entirely around your preferences, travel style, and what you want to remember. Nothing is off the shelf.
For peak-season travel and premium properties — particularly safari lodges like Singita Ebony Lodge or Delaire Graff Estate — we recommend booking 6 to 12 months in advance. For more flexible dates and destinations, 3 to 6 months is typically sufficient. Your advisor will always tell you honestly what's achievable in your timeframe and find alternatives if first-choice properties are unavailable.
No. All HauteBlack journeys are available without membership. You work with a dedicated travel advisor and receive Virtuoso preferred partner benefits — complimentary upgrades, resort credits, daily breakfast, and VIP arrival — on every qualifying stay, membership or not. Membership adds waived planning fees, a dedicated senior advisor, priority access to private events, and deeper concierge support.
A dedicated HauteBlack travel advisor contacts you within 24 hours — usually sooner. They'll start with a conversation, not a form. You'll discuss your vision, travel style, dates, and any preferences. From there, your advisor builds a fully bespoke itinerary proposal. There is no obligation and no planning fee for the initial consultation.
